IPHost Network Monitor is a distributed Windows server monitoring piece of software for most widely used families of protocols, capable of watching the overall performance as well as services errors for many network services, including protocols such as HTTP(S), SMTP, IMAP, POP3, SNMP, ODBC, MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, general TCP, UDP, ICMP (PING); DNS and other servers; network resources and miscellaneous kidns of hardware (using SNMP on Unix-like OS and Mac; using WMI on Windows). Remote Network Agents enable monitoring of resources in multiple separate networks. The tool has an advanced control panel and a number of means to send the status notifications for the services being supervised. A SNMP browser is available as well. The tool provides a Web-interface to its monitoring functions as well. SNMP traps monitor for immediate alerts on event. It is possible to install a Nagios plugin to monitor resources with IPHost Network Monitor. Custom actions may be used by executing any user-defined application or script.
